Hi! I’m Jaycie, owner of JD Digital, and I’m so happy you’re here.

I started JD Digital during my freshman year at Hawkeye Community College while studying photography. What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a true passion. From shooting sports photos on my iPhone in high school to diving deep into photography and editing in college, I’ve always been drawn to capturing meaningful moments.

After graduation, I explored other career paths, working in healthcare and later helping manage two local restaurants. That’s where I discovered my love for organization, leadership, and bringing moving pieces together. Today, I work full-time as a property manager while running JD Digital—balancing creativity with strong organization and attention to detail.

Planning my own wedding in 2025 (after getting engaged in 2023) and helping my best friends with theirs is where I truly fell in love with wedding planning and coordination. I’m so excited to now offer those services alongside photography.

When I’m not working, I’m a proud dog mom to my fur babies, Indy and Jayke.

I can’t wait to continue growing JD Digital and serving my couples and families with the support of my friends, family, and community.
